The last two weeks the kiddos learned that Jesus taught his Disciples—and us—how to pray. The kiddos continued to learn the Lord’s Prayer and focused on the last part of the prayer where we can pray ‘outward’ to God, focusing on how we can pray for others in our family, church, school, and community.

Lead your kiddos at home:

• READ ALOUD 
  • The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) — focus on verses 13
• TALK ABOUT 
  • Ask your kiddo if there are any words in the prayer they don’t understand. [Answers Vary]
  • Talk about the meanings of keywords: 
    • Temptation: to consider or cause to consider doing something wrong or unwise 
    • Deliver: to set free or save
  • Ask your kiddo if there is anyone in their family, church, school or community that they would like to pray for.  [Answers vary]
