SOUL
SOUL Food Pantry serves many families in our community by providing food, household and cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper goods, and even clothing to those who qualify. As a choice food pantry, clients are able to shop once each month—plus one additional visit during the year—selecting the items that best meet their needs through a simple point system.

Right now, there is a significant need for diapers. This year, we’re excited to step in and meet that need in a meaningful way through a focused financial gift.
Hope's Closet
In the Book of James, it says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” And from the beginning, our desire as a church has been to live out a faith that makes this real. In doing so, we have partnered with Hope’s Closet for over a decade now in our desire to love the orphan and the foster families who are inviting children in tragic circumstances into their family.

Your giving this year will go towards making a difference at literally the ground level. We are providing funds for Hope’s Closet to replace their flooring and create a space that is warm and inviting to the families coming in. We will also be providing shoes for 200 kids! Think about when you were a kid and how a new pair of kicks put a hop in your step and a little hope in your heart. We get to do that this year!
The Meadows
The Meadows is a nursing and rehab facility located in Forest Park, just around the corner from Base Camp on Pellston Ct. Each month on the 3rd Thursday from 2:00-3:00 PM, we will bring God’s love in practical ways that include conversations, games, reading, and lots of listening.

We will also be providing two parties, one in June and the other in December. Our Love Gives funding will bless the 80 residents and staff in a very special way!

Serving at the Meadows is a great opportunity to live out some of what James describes in this verse:  “True spirituality  that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans,  and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.” James 1:27 Passion Version
The 50
This past Feast marked a change from wider to deeper in the way we love families through Thanksgiving Baskets. Instead of providing hundreds and hundreds of families with Thanksgiving Baskets, we selected 50 families and came alongside them in a deeper and more personal way.

We provided Thanksgiving, but we also provided groceries and launched a relationship with these families that we want to continue to pour into....
